Interpersonal Skills

Interpersonal skill is really an important skill, since it includes interacting with a group of peoples or with an individuals. Though,art of negotiation and interacting  matters too. If you have good Interpersonal skill then it an give you many benefit such as following:
 
  1.  You're able to work comfortably in a group or in a team,
  2.  Communication skill development with time.
  3.  Get awareness about interactions with people.
  4.  You overcome your shyness.
  5. Confidence and morale booster.
Generally, you're already blessed with an interpersonal skill and it exist insude you but issue you might have not realise it yet or never tried to work on it. Anyhow, lets talk about the points whih can help you gaining good interpersonal skills for the longer period of time and you will feel the change once you get it right inside you. 
1.      Who You Are
·    This is reality where you should accept your weaknessess  that are needed to be enhanced and improved. Only you can do this by yourself by realising what you can do for yourself and you can also take opinion about yourself from others as you must know that where do you stand.
2.      Work on your Basic Communication Skills
  1. This not only includes verbal communication but also non-verbal communication since both simultaneously work better and set a good impression on others.
  2. Questioning and clarifying the points also help to set an impression regarding your interest, curiosity, and also of your good listening skill.
  3.  Gesture, expressions, and voice also plays an important role in non-verbal communication.
4.      Look Inwards 
  1. Since every one of us have different opinions and set of beliefs. It is really important for us to understand and see things from other’s perspective as well without getting aggressive and offended.  This is done by improving your personal skills first then this exercise of looking inwards dramatically comes in us.
  2. For this Emotional Intelligence plays an important role as well. Daniel Goleman, the famous author of a number of books on emotional intelligence, identified five key areas, where three are of personal, and two of interpersonal.
  3. The personal skills are self-awareness, self-regulation, and motivation
  4. The social skills are empathy and social skills.
  5. Both play a significant role in developing this sense inside us to understand others and respect their point of views as well.
5.      Practice your interpersonal skills 
  1. Try to increase your interaction with other people and observe yourself.
  2. Try to improve the art of negotiation and improve the communication skill via listening, and observe your surroundings.
  3. Know the better way of voicing out your opinion where needed.
  4. Try to resolve any conflicts.
6.      Learn from your Experience
·     Never ever forget your mistakes which you have made in your past. Remember your past to learn.
